A made-to-order Plaque in solid unlacquered brass featuring a curved outline. The piece is engraved to order with your house name or number in a versatile dark green and finished with domed screw caps. Raw brass is a living finish, meaning it will age and patina over time, or polish to restore to its original warmth and shine. Pair with the rest of the Front Door collection. 

To add your engraving, simply select House Number or House Name from the drop-down menu, then enter your chosen engraving. House numbers can be up to 4 characters, including letters. House names can be engraved on one or two lines, with up to 11 characters per line.

Please note, all text engraving is done in upper case. Our team will engrave your text exactly as entered, so please check that you are happy with your engraving before checking out.

Better With Age

Brass has always been the material of front doors, and the best examples show their years. Generations of hands and weather soften the shine into something deeper and warmer, the colour you might see on old townhouses and country pubs.

Our door hardware is made from raw brass, left unlacquered so it can do the same. It develops rather than deteriorates, slowly picking up a patina that darkens with the weather and brightens where hands touch it most. Polish it back to its original shine, or leave it be and let it age with the house.
